Please join us for our first German Business Stammtisch in Edinburgh on Monday, 2 November, from 18:00 to 20:00 at The Parliament Arms in the heart of Edinburgh. The event is organised in partnership with the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany (BCCG) and the German Consulate General Edinburgh.
We are delighted that David McAllister, Member of the European Parliament for the CDU, will join us as guest speaker. David McAllister has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2014 and has chaired its Committee on Foreign Affairs since 2017. He previously served as Minister-President of Lower Saxony from 2010 to 2013 and brings extensive experience in European affairs, international relations and UK-German relations. He also chairs the European Parliament’s UK Contact Group.
The Stammtisch will bring together members of the German-British business and professional community from Edinburgh and beyond in a relaxed and informal setting. It will be an opportunity to make new connections, exchange ideas and engage with representatives of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the German Consulate General Edinburgh. We will delve into discussions on business, politics and the bilateral relationship between the UK and Germany.
