We are delighted to welcome Jürgen Hardt as guest speaker at this Stammtisch. Jürgen Hardt has been a Member of the German Bundestag since 2009. He has been the Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs of the CDU/CSU Parliamentarian Group in the German Bundestag since 2015 and currently serves as a Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs as well a Substitute Member of the Committee on European Union Affairs. He is the Deputy Head of Delegation in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly as well as a Member of Delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). He is one of the most outspoken foreign policy experts in the CDU and gets quoted regularly in newspapers and on national television.
The monthly Stammtisch provides an excellent platform for our German business community to connect and engage with representatives of the local CDU chapter and members of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany. As always, we will delve into discussions on business, politics, and the bilateral relationship between the UK and Germany.
